• Pilates: floor work session based on the principles of Joseph Pilates. A core conditioning session aiming mainly to improve posture and balance by strengthening the abdominal and low-back area. May also focus on strengthening upper and lower body with your own body weight or equipment.
  • Prenatal Low: a low impact session that is specifically designed for pregnant women, based on ACOG and ACE guidelines. A long warm-up, a segment of cardio, and lots of Kegels will help prepare you for labor and help you recover after childbirth. (Always check with your doctor to get permission to exercise).
  • Ballet: is a multilevel class accomodating the "absolute beginner" as well as the "professional performer." This class is run like a "classic" ballet class with barre work, center work, movements across the floor and a fun combination at the end. The class pace is faster than a traditional ballet class in order to provide more fitness benefits.

  • Booty Blast B.A.R.- A Barre Aerobic Resistance Principle session: LVAC may not have ballet barres installed in any of our locations, but we put a different spin on the popular barre principle sessiones. With low impact movements we target the muscles of your core and your lower body (hips, thighs, butt). The movements are small, the focus is on alignment and good form and the repetitions are high - you will feel the burn! And instead of hanging from a barre you get to hold your own to tone your upper body.
